Welcome to Preda
We look forward to your visit.
Let us spoil you for a few days!
Preda lies in a charming valley basin in the midst of a tremendous alpine setting, surrounded by flowery meadows and dark forests. Preda is a small, idyllic locality situated on the Albula Pass at 1,800 metres above sea level, 7 kilometres above Bergün. Preda is an ideal starting point for strenuous mountain tours, small hikes, or for leisurely exploratory excursions through the wild-romantic Albula Valley with its many architectural works, winding tunnels and towering viaducts with the Rhaetian Railway.
Our hotel was built in 1899 at the northern gateway to the Engadin, shortly before the start of the railway construction, and renovated the last time in 1995. The Engadin is accessible with the Rhaetian Railway through the Albula Tunnel within a short time (e.g. Spinas in 7 minutes). It takes about 4 ½ hours by foot. But the rich alpine flora and the wonderful panorama compensate you for your efforts.
After a strenuous mountain tour, a leisurely hike, or an interesting train ride ― you can relax best with us! Enjoy a carefree mountain holiday – the wonderful panorama, the regional and seasonal delicacies from our kitchen, as well as our personal and family care – with us!
